Programs are ordered by the median earnings of their Radio and Television graduates four years after completing, highest first. Only programs with a reported earnings cohort in the Northeast appear. The figures cover federally aided completers who were working and not enrolled. For 6 of the 40 listed programs the figure is the two-year completion median rather than the four-year one. The metric does not adjust for graduate school enrollment, cost, or who enrolls, and it is not a measure of teaching quality. The range from top to bottom spans $69,135, with Rochester Institute of Technology at $91,222 and the lowest-ranked program at $22,087. The gap between Rochester Institute of Technology and second-place Fordham University is $6,856.
