### Who it’s a good fit for

Ferris State University is a public university in Big Rapids, Michigan, with a degree mix led by Business, Engineering Technologies, and Security & Protective Services. Affordability is among the highest we track.

Graduates out-earn what the model predicts for students like them, and the model attributes part of that to the factors it measures, which adds, while what it cannot explain subtracts. Return is above average, while the typical graduate earns above the median at comparable schools.

The net price for the lowest income band sits well below the published cost, and there is a spread between the lowest and highest bands. Pell students complete at a rate that is above the overall rate, and mobility is well above average.

The admission rate is above the median for comparable schools, and the university's highest-earning programs are concentrated in applied technology fields. A student drawn to the largest programs should know that the best-paid ones are not the largest.
