### Who it’s a good fit for

Northwestern State University of Louisiana is a public university in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where Health Professions and Business account for the largest shares of degrees. The strongest pillar is affordability, which is above average.

Graduates out-earn what the model predicts for students like them, and the typical graduate earns below the median at comparable schools. The model attributes part of that advantage to the factors it measures, which adds, while the unexplained remainder subtracts, and return is around the average.

Pell students complete within a few points of the overall rate, and mobility is above average. The lowest income band averages well below the published cost, and the spread between the lowest and highest bands is modest.

The admission rate is above the median for comparable schools, and most graduates are estimated to go into work rather than further study. The largest program, Nursing, is also the highest-earning program.
